The Turbo is amazingly fun. And the TDI is the only diesel convertible currently sold in the States!

I think they, diplomatically, say that the Miata and the Mini are both better driving cars.
This video seems a bit more targeted to someone who wants a new car and says they're looking at "small convertibles".

In the lifestyle segment... people looking for a fun convertible, they probably do, because emotional reasons.
Enthusiast segment, basically meaning Jalops on Oppositelock... not so much, because technical reasons.
